Windows 10 Error

  Hi,

  I recently installed Windows 10 on my laptop. I didn’t really want to do this, but eventually I wasn’t given an option and it just started installing.

  That was a couple of weeks ago and things have been ok, expect that last night when I tried to update my blog, http://www.thisyearinmusic.wordpress.com, I got this error message. I couldn’t access Dashboard, I couldn’t even read it in Firefox, Internet Explorer or Chrome.

  The error message I get each time is

  Firefox

  Unable to connect

  Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at thisyearinmusic.wordpress.com.

  The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
  If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
  If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

  Internet Explorer

  Hmm, we can’t reach this page.
  Try this
  • Make sure that you’ve got the right web address: http://www.thisyearinmusic.wordpress.com
  • Refresh the page
  Search for what you want

  Chrome

  Your Internet access is blocked
  Firewall or antivirus software may have blocked the connection.
  ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED

  I am not tech savy, but how can I fix this error?

  Hi thisyearinmusic,

  It sounds like the issue is related to your antivirus/firewall which may have blocked WordPress.com. You need to ensure that it does not block WordPress.com website.
