Windows Live Writer question
-
The other day I had major issues with two different size fonts in one post. It was suggested that I get
Windows Live Writer, which I did.

I got it all downloaded and ready to use but now I have a couple of different questions.I noticed a tab for HTML and I’m not sure what the other one was for (guessing plain text).
Which tab should I use so I can just copy and paste the article onto WordPress?
Also, will I be able to include links while I’m still writing the article in Windows Live Writer or will I have to add those once the article is in WordPress?
Anything else you can tell me??
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Windows live writer will actually upload and publish your posts for you. You don’t have to copy and paste them into the wordpress editor and in fact that may actually cause problems.
With WLW, you can put in links, you can put in images, basically anything that you can do in the wordpress editor and WLW will upload the images for you.
I would suggest looking through the help files and if they include one, the tutorial, or look and see if it came with an electronic manual of some sort.

thesacredpath,
Thank you!!! You answered all my questions very nicely and quickly. Oh yes, I plan to check out the help files but sometimes it is also helpful to get the advice of other users as well. That was my reason for coming here. Thank you so much for all you help and time.

I use Ecto on my Mac and am reasonably happy with it although I would like to be able to do tables. Ecto doesn’t do tables. Of course, I never do tables anyway.

Yes, it is similar and it does photo align and such too. Sometimes the wysiwyg editor does not display the alignment correctly, but they always seem to show correctly once you get it published.
