Wipe site clean.
-
I attempted to upload my WP files from my domain, into .wordpress.com version, but some of the plugins I currently use are not supported. So it seems not much of what I imported is useful and I would be better off starting from scratch. What is the quickest way to wipe it clean and start over?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you’re referring to a WordPress.com website such as https://playactioncustoms.wordpress.com, then see the Empty Site support page for the DIY method.

I was already aware of that method. I imported over 1000 posts.
Is there a better way to do it than 20 at a time?

Not to mention the 1gb of media…. Is deleting the whole thing and creating it again a possibility?

@ ydandb,

If you delete the site, you won’t be able to use the address again.

You can change the number of posts to display at Posts/All Posts with the “Number of items per page” variable in Screen Options. I wouldn’t try to delete all 1000 posts at once, but you might try 50 or even 100 at a time. If 100 works, perhaps try 200.
You can also modify the number of items to display per page at the media library, All Pages, category and tags pages, comments, etc. Each of these pages has that variable in the screen options.
See also the “Emptying your site: The automated option” section of the Empty Site support page, which says:
If you have a lot of content, you can ask the WordPress.com support team to empty your site for you. Emptying a site removes all posts, pages, uploaded media, tags, and categories permanently from your site so you can reuse the site address, or to ensure all data is removed before deleting a site completely. If we empty your site, your theme and any customizations you’ve made remain in place, and if you have a custom menu, any links to external sites will be preserved; other menu items will be deleted.
Note: emptying a site is not reversible!

Emptying it seems to be the best. The posts I imported didn’t work the way I preferred. So if I have to touch everyone again anyway, might as well do it fresh…
Thanks.

Just to be clear the blog I’m requesting to be emptied is this one: The playactioncustoms.wordpress.com.

So how do I contact the support team to empty the site? Or is this sufficient?
Add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar, and then wait for staff to respond.
