Wish only registered users to post AND READ comments.

Am beginning a condo website where we invite anyone to read our posts but only registered users (condo owners and residents) to add their comments. So far, so good. But can I also restrict who sees these comments .. restrict them to the registered users noted above?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello!

WordPress allows users to see, subscribe, and comment on any public blog. You could just manually approve every comment (it could be easy if the condo owners and residents are rather small). WordPress also allows comment blacklisting whereby you can ban certain names, IP address, words etc.

If you have a large association one workaround could be making two blogs: One Blog that is the public face and another blog set to private and only inviting the condo users.

Alternatively, you could forgot WordPress.COM and consider using WordPress.ORG which has many plugins you can add to your site (which are forbidden in WordPress.COM) to customize your site exactly.

The short answer is no, not at WordPress.com.
