Wish to change my email address

  I accidentally created a WordPress account using my preferred email address. I came to realize I was using an old email address to log in. Now there is a new account using the email address I want my existing account to use. The error reads, ‘that e-mail address is already being used.’

  Hi there,

  It is not possible to use the same address for more than one site. Instead what you can do is log into the first account (the one currently using the email address) and change it to a different address instead.

  This will “free up” the email address so you can set it on your preferred account instead. Hope this helps!
