Thanks for turning that cap locks key off. :)Provided you are logged in under the exact same username account that registered cathrynclaire.wordpress.com you can use this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
That option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again.
If you want to redirect traffic to the new blog, and retain and page rank the blog has or authority your have gained in the niche then you can keep the address and purchase the Site Redirect upgrade.

How about a reality check and then a Play it Again, Sam.
There are 36 million that Staff provide support for. Creating duplicate threads and bumping existing threads by posting into them again and again and again for attention seeking purposes is not in your best interest as it will delay the time it takes for you to get help.
Staff work their way through support tickets and forum threads tagged for their attention by dealing with those that have the earliest date and timestamps first, then moving forward to deal with those that have the most recent date and time stamps. Please be patient while waiting for Staff to assist the bloggers who posted before you did.

Wait for staff to answer. Do not do anything and in particular, stop making multiple posts. Every time you make a new post, you send this to the BACK of the line of support requests. You also make this thread easier for Google to find, and thus expose the name you want to hide.
So just wait. Stop posting. Keep an eye on the thread to see if staff respond.
