  Hi,
  I want to delete my wordpress.com account as I have created self hosted with wordpress.org. Please tel me whether my decision is right.

  Hi @muraliscribe, you’d be welcome to delete this account if you are not using our services.

  Bear in mind, your WordPress.com account is used for several Automattic services, including Jetpack, Gravatar, and extensions and support for WooCommerce. If you’re in doubt, I’d recommend hanging onto the account for a while longer; you can always close it later.
