Wish to transfer my Domain Registration

I transferred my site from WordPress.com to Siteground.com and want to transfer my Domain Registration as well but can’t access it.
I paid my renewal to WordPress.com on 23 Dec 2021.WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Yes
Correct account: Unknown -
We have no history of domains, sites, purchases, transactions, or billing activity under the account you’re currently logged into.
What is the domain name you’re referring to?

Ah good, that domain belongs to the account you’re logged in to with the reply you just posted, not the account you opened this thread with. ;)
Under the correct account, you can transfer the domain by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/transfer-domain-registration/

When I try to log into that account it doesn’t exist as the website is no longer on WordPress – that has been my problem – only the Domain Name for geelonganddistrict.com is on WordPress.
As I’ve now managed to get an authorisation code perhaps I’ve found the key to unlocking it. -

The transfer was rejected even though I had an authorisation code – how do I now sort this out?

Hi there,
I checked on this end and do not see anything that would prevent the domain from transferring successfully. I see the nameservers have been pointed to Siteground successfully. Have you reached out to them to see if anything happened on their end to cause the rejection?

Have just repeated the whole process and paid for it again and again WordPress rejected the transfer even with an authorisation code.
This is the response I received from WordPress and I have no idea what it means or how to fix it!An important notice regarding your transfer

OK – that is done – it says it takes 5 days to finalise – does that mean I can’t try to transfer my domain name again for another 5 days?
This has already been going on for over a week and is very frustrating! -
It can take up to 5 days for that change to fully propagate to all domain registrars, but I recommend trying again today, and if it fails for the same reason, one more time tomorrow.
In my experience, it usually goes through by then, especially if you’re moving to one of the major domain registrars.
