    Currently the two photos on your front page are 1180 pixels wide, this is the widest a photo can appear on the Dara theme. Anything bigger than 1180 pixels will be shrunk to fit the theme and borders will appear.

    I did find one theme similar to yours that does support full-width images (with no sidebars) called Edin. One thing to consider is that it will crop images for smaller screens.

    The image of you just above the title is designed for a logo and is as large as it can be by default on the theme.

    You will still have the option of enlarging it by using CSS customization. If you prefer to continue using this theme and prefer not to use CSS to enlarge the size of the logo then you best option would be to replace your first header with it.

    @lightsportman The section titled Uploading a Custom Header Image states:

    To get started, open the Customizer. Not familiar with the Customizer? Just click on My Sites in the admin bar and then click Customize in the sidebar. There, look for the Header Image section. (If you do not see this section, this means that your current theme does not support the use of a custom image header.) Here, you may choose between your own images—if you have recently uploaded any—and a selection of suggested images for your current theme if it has any. Want to add a new image instead? Easy! Just click Add New and you’ll be able to choose images from your blog’s media library or upload an image from your computer—just drag and drop. Once you’ve chosen an image, you can crop it to your liking, or you may skip this step if the size of the image fits your theme’s dimensions.

    The Dara theme recommends a header image be 1180px by 360px (it will shrink or crop anything larger than this).

    It sounds like you’re referring to the logo. In your case, you’ve uploaded your photo as the site logo. The only way to change its size would be through some custom CSS:

    .custom-logo {
    max-height: 200px;
}

    Try adding that in your Customizer‘s Custom CSS panel. You can adjust the 200px value as you like.
