With greyzed theme how do I show archives by post name, not by month in sidebar?
-
I use greyzed theme. I would like my past posts to appear in sidebar by post title so visitors can see what the post topic is about and not do a blind search by month. How can I do this please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Couple of suggestions:
1. Create a custom menu and use a custom menu widget. However, a custom menu in the header area would be preferable because the post titles could appear in drop-down menus under various categories, each post having been assigned to one or more categories. The custom menu widget would display the titles in a bulleted list under each category. In either case, the order in which the posts are displayed can be arranged at the custom menu page.2. Use customized display posts shortcode in a text widget. However, as drop-down is again not an option, the list might already be excessively long considering how many archived months of posts you presently display.

You could have the year as the top level categories, months as subcategories for each year, and the post titles as the sub-subcategories. In a header area custom menu, this hierarchy would display drop-down menus of two generations (months and titles).
Or you could have a single top-level category “Posts” (or whatever) with three generations of drop-down menus stemming from it — years, months, and post titles.
