With the VideoPress player can I disable download?
-
Hi
I’ve just embedded some video in a page with the VideoPress player. I see that by clicking share the end user can actually download the MP4 file or OGG file.
Can I disable this? I don’t mind people being able to copy the embed code but I don’t, in all cases, want them to be able to actually download the file.
Thanks

oops.
Here is the answer: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/disable-share-and-embed-videopress-file-in-self-hosted-blog
Just one thing; is it possible to allow embedding but not downloading?
-
No, it’s an all-or-nothing deal basically. You’ll be able to embed it on your own site, but others won’t be able to.

ok. that is fine. I see i could specifcally allow it to be embedded on named domains so I could say to people if they want to embed it contact me, which is a handy option.
Thanks
