Without Trailing Forward Slash Redirecting to First Post
-
Installed WordPress at domain.com/stringing/
If I go to domain.com/stringing it redirects to the first POST on the account i.e without the trailing slash. How can I stop this?
If I go to domain.com/stringing/ it redirects to the PAGE on the account I have set as the home page from “Reading Settings” – works as intended.
The .htaccess is:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]
RewriteBase /stringing/
RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /stringing/ [L] -
Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.
