Wix eCommerce Hosting Site

I am planning to create an eCommerce site using WooCommerce plugin with WordPress, and was wondering if it’s possible to use Wix.com as the hosting site? I have bought a domain name through Wix.com, so is it possible to make the eCommerce website with that domain name and use Wix for payment integration and such?

Wix.com only hosts sites created with their proprietary website builder software. If you are planning to use WooCommerce, you’ll need a WordPress site. You can host your site on WordPress.com, or you can host a WordPress.org site on another hosting provider (i.e. Bluehost, InMotion, GreenGeeks, etc).
To use WooCommerce on WordPress.com, you’ll need a Business plan which allows for the installation of Plugins. You can find more information about WordPress.com plan features at the following link:

Once you have a WordPress.com or another hosting account set up, you can map your domain so that it can be used by your new hosting provider. If you end up using WordPress.com, you can find domain mapping instructions here:
