Wix hosted domain transfer to WordPress

  I want to have my current domain on wordpress. I am currently with wix and only have a single page webite. I am keen to change the content and the design as well so it is not so important to directly move my entire website to WP. I know I can have the wix host pointing to WP but I prefer to quit Wix altogether and have my domain on a hot that is best for a WP website. Is this possible. I only see the option to keep my current host.
