  Hi there,
  I am currently looking to transfer a .com site from Wix to a WordPress site with a .ca
  Is this possible?
  I have reviewed information on .ca sites and your forums but the articles are very dated.

  Hi there, the content should transfer without any issues.

  A .ca domain cannot currently be transferred to our services. This list is current:
  https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/#which-tlds-extensions-can-i-transfer-to-wordpress-com

  But you can certainly map it:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Mapping just means you keep the registration where it is, and point the domain to our servers. Then if we’re able to transfer .ca domains at some point, you’d be welcome, or you can just keep the domain with the registrar of your choice.
