  I had a question asked of me. Can a WIX.com website be converted to WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Can a WIX.com website be converted to WordPress?

  Your existing Wix site can’t be converted into a WordPress.com site but certain elements can be used or migrated here.

  The design you are currently using on Wix won’t be compatible with WordPress.com but you choose a theme from our Theme Showcase instead:

  https://wordpress.com/themes

  If Wix are able to provide an .xml file of your content, it can be imported in to your new site here. If not, it will need to be copied over manually.

  Do you wish to continue using the same domain?

  One last piece of information that may be useful — an existing domain can be connected to a WordPress.com site with domain mapping. If the person you are asking for needs any help, they are welcome to get in touch.
