Wizard doesn’t show translated products

Hello i am desperate. Since 2 days i am trying to solve this:
I made a wizard to sell 3 products in italian. It works great.
Then i made another wizard to show the same products in english but there is no way to convince it to show the translated products. These products exist, they are visible in the shop area. It is mad because all the settings are exactly the same as for the italian but i can see the english products only when i am in editor mode but if i exit the editor and try to look at the wizard it doesn’t show the products.
Very stressfull because i need to start selling the producst in english already since 3 days!

  • Hello there,

This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

It means that our support is limited.

We’ll do our best to point you in the right direction – when you say you created a wizard, can you tell me what you did exactly?

    Thank you!

We have a training to sell to both italian and english speaking people, who need to choose select the training it self, then move to choose a food and accomodation option and then declare if they are or not members of a certain association.

So we took the woocommerce products wizard and created a 3 steps wizard after the “welcome” area, in italian:
    training
    food and accomodation
    membership

In each step we place the code of the product in italian.
Everything went well and the italians can book the training with no problem at all.

When creating the english version we cloned the one in italian – in order to imitate the succesfull one already existing – then we translated in english the captions that needed to be translated and then in each step we place the code of the product translated in english by WPML.
Here, instead of workin as it works the italian version, a very weird thing happens that we can’t solve:
If we look at the english wizard/shop while being inside the editor we see the wizard steps and in each step we see the corresponding translated product.
BUT if we get out of the editor and we behave as outer visitors the wizard appears with all the captions but no product shows in any of the steps.
All the products, in italian and english, are public and present in the shop so everyone could access by visiting the “shop” page, but they show only in the italian version of the wizard…
We compared many times the settings of the 2 wizards and beside having different web adresses they are exactly the same but with just the product codes different – italian vs english.

We are completely puzzled and with no more resources.
    Thank you!

  • Thank you for all the details. I think that in this case, the WPML developers would be the best people to advise about this. Is this the plugin you used? https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/.

If so, you’ll find the support forum in the sidebar.

You may also ask at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/; someone may be able to help out there too.
