I was wondering, If i install wordpress on my own hosting/server will i need to pay for a ‘business plan’ to use plugins or can i just install plugins myself?

There are two different platforms of WordPress––WordPress.com(Hosting and Software) and WordPress.org(Software only).
If you plan to use your Hosting, you don’t need to pay for Business Plan to use Plugins and themes. You can just use the Software and support at WordPress.org. You can install your Plugins directly without the Plan.
WordPress.com requires you to be a Business Plan user to be able to install plugins. Also, you don’t need to have separate hosting as the Business plan includes the hosting.
