Won't accept my changes. I paid for upgrade.
-
I own my theme. Coraline. I have changed the color, background, and font 6 times and saved it. It says it is published. It has not changed. When I go back something totally different from what I picked shows up.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
No you don’t own it. Coraline is a free theme. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/coraline/
If and only if you purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing then you can change the fonts.
See here for details on the custom design upgrade:

If you have not purchased the custom design upgrade note that no changes you try out aside from those such as Custom Background, Custom Header, etc. which are stated on the theme description pages in the features column (right hand side) will be visible to visitors.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/You do not need to load the design tools unless you have the Custom Design upgrade. All of these functions can be accessed from your dashboard – without loading the custom design tools – no upgrade required.
Appearance > Header
Appearance > Background
Appearance > Theme Options (applicable only to some themes)
Settings > Reading (set a static front page)
Site Title and Tagline > Settings > GeneralIf you are using the preview mode for the Custom Design upgrade some of the settings in that mode will save but they won’t show up on the front end unless you purchase the upgrade.
To go back to the free options, go to Appearance → Themes → Customize → Colors and click the “exit the preview” link in yellow at the top of the panel on the right.

I see that you have the Premium bundle for the site at thearkenstone.wordpress.com. Is this the blog you are having difficulty with, or are you needing assistance for villagewitchblog.wordpress.com?
If you wish to use Custom Design for villagewitchblog.wordpress.com, you will need to purchase it separately, as each upgrade is blog-specific.
-
-
Wait, I don’t use thearkenstone.wordpress.com. I use the villagewitchblog.wordpress.com. If you look at the two of them, thearkenstone.wordpress.com doesn’t exist.
-
I have changed everything over to thearkenstone.wordpress.com. It still will not let me change fonts.
-
You currently have the custom domain icepondwitch.com, which is mapped to thearkenstone.wordpress.com, where all the content for icepondwitch.com resides.
The site thearkenstone.wordpress.com therefore does exist, but the address is hidden by the custom domain. This is your “My Story Blog” site.
Meanwhile there is also a site at villagewitchblog.wordpress.com (with a lovely photo of Thorin! ) which is called “The Arkenstone Blog”.
Both of these sites were updated today.
All of your upgrades are tied to thearkenstone.wordpress.com, including the domain. You have no upgrades on villagewitchblog.wordpress.com.
I could move all of your upgrades, including your domain, to villagewitchblog.wordpress.com, but that would mean the domain would no longer point to the site at thearkenstone.wordpress.com.
-
-
That would be perfect if it was at villagewitchblog. I’m trying to use
site title: Fertigo Pro Script
Heading Museo Bold
Body MuseoI’m not sure how I got all dicombubolated….Thanks for your help.
-
So to confirm: you want your premium bundle, including your domain icepondwitch.com, to be associated with villagewitchblog.wordpress.com?
Once I move the upgrade over, you should be able to use the custom fonts on villagewitchblog.wordpress.com.
-
-
I’ve made the changes for you and updated the domain icepondwitch.com to point to villagewitchblog.wordpress.com. Note that there may be a delay in the site appearing properly on the internet as the domain records need to be updated, and that can take up to 72 hours in some cases.
You should now be able to use Custom Design to modify your fonts. If you have issues accessing your site while the domain updates, you can go directly to https://villagewitchblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ to access your Dashboard.
