Won't accept my password and can't access password reset

  I just created a WordPress blog a few days ago. Suddenly, I can’t log in anymore.

  When I enter the admin password that was emailed to me, it says the password is incorrect.

  When I enter my email or user name to get a new password sent to me, I get the message:

  The e-mail could not be sent.
  Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…

  Does someone know what the source of the problem is and how to fix it?
