won't auto-post to Facebook

    Hello!

    Please help! My blog was set up to auto-post to Facebook every time I published a new blog post. I have 2 professional FB pages and I was able to have it so that both of these pages auto-post a new status when a new blog was posted. Worked fine every time!

    Last week, and now again today when I posted a new blog post, the auto-post does NOT work. Furthermore, I cannot even put the link to the direct blog post as a FB status! I have tested posting other links – including other random WordPress blogs – to my pages, and they all work fine. But I cannot manually post a link to my own blog. The only way around this is to post the link in the comments field. That works as an okay bandaid, but of course, with that, I don’t get the nice WordPress icon or anything eye-catching to draw attention to the post.

    This is very frustrating! I have followed the WordPress instructions for disconnecting and reconnecting the interface between itself and Facebook. I have done this many times, all to no avail. I’ve tested and retested and tried many things – nothing works. Furthermore, I can no longer get WordPress to say it will auto-post to BOTH my FB pages. Instead, I have to choose one or the other. I want to post to both!

    If there is anything you can do or any advice you can offer, that would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi, I’m having same problem too. I checked my sharing settings and it seems like connected to my facebook account. It works on twitter and linkedin but doesn’t work on facebook. I think problem is about facebook app.

    I went to https://apps.facebook.com/wordpressdotcom/ and there was a button that says start sharing now, when i clicked it got me right back to sharing settings page of my wordpress panel.

    Any ideas why?
