Won't let me add or modify coding on Pages

  I try to add or modify a link, contact form box or HTML coding, but it won’t let me. Instead it makes everything within the coding just disappear entirely in the preview, whether I modify or add something new.

  I’m using Oxygen theme with dcenteruw.wordpress.com.

  If it disappears, then the coding is wrong or forbidden. You can paste the code here between backticks (see the note on allowed markup), so we can see what you’re trying to use.

  I just go to the visual part of editing a page and click on the contact form button. It makes the code for me.

  Or the link coding, but I do it through the “text” and enter the website and title and the link code makes it for me.

  It’s nothing that I’m personally writing or coding.
