Won’t let me delete

I’m trying to delete posts and pages on my blog, but only get a red colour on the deleted post/page and they don’t disappear. The server upgrade was meant to be “five minutes” and yet it’s been… well, at least an hour plus. I guess you can’t predict how long these things will take – but what I wanna know is if this is a part of the upgrade, or if this is another issue.

Me too. Same problem. Can’t delete posts and pages. I have tried deleted them 4 times in a row and, whetever I come back to Dashboard-Manage-Page-or-Post, they are still there !
Edit: I discovered that when deleting –using Opera 9.02– rows (of pages or posts) they disapear right away (just as normal). But, if I delete them using Firefox 2, I will get a huge “Site Maintenance” box warning message at the bottom of the page and header will turn to some funky shite.
Is this normal when blog is in “Site Maintenance” status?

Getting the same thing for a few hours now.
First I made a temp post for technorati. got the message that told me to hit refresh after five minutes. tried that a few times, only to discover that it made the post, 8 times. now I can’t delete them

I have the same problem. My pages have been duplicated and it looks rather… unprofesssional. Any word on progress?

It’s my fault. Well, Murphy’s Law and I comitted this, I guess…
Today I made the decision to move away from Blogger –because their service really sux big time– and return to my original and favorite server: WP. But I guess Murphy’s Law didn`t like that.

Same problem here :( I can do nothing all evening, comments are ok, but duplicated posts won’t delete :(
I hope problem will soon be fixed…

I believe this unable to delete posts “problem” is related to the server maintenance going on. I share it with you. In fact I now have two blogs with multiple duplicated posts that I would love to be able to delete. arrhhhhggg! That being shared, I believe staff are working hard in the background to correct these issues and our only role is to be patient. It’s hard I know because I admit I’ve been grinding my teeth too. So as they say: Hang in there! :)

Would you rather they be trying to fix the issue or spending their time posting? They can’t do both.
I’d like to know why we have a doxen topics on the issue myself. It’s wasting my time since I would rather be helping folks where I can.

I just successfully deleted a duplicate post, and hit count seems to be advancing again.

yea…guys. this problem is back. i can’t delete posts or pages. =/
i did a few test posts. and i need to take them off. cuz it looks very ugly. some help?
