Won't let me Edit my Blog

  Hello, I’m finding I’ve got the same problem here that I have when trying to post responses to articles on the Net. It won’t let me Edit….for example, I might back up a few paragraphs to add a sentence and it won’t let me ‘go anywhere’. It’s like it’s frozen. It depresses me to think WP can’t handle it’s blogs better than this, but right now I cannot edit my Blog at all. Got any solutions? Don’t tell me to dump cookies or history, I already tried that and it didn’t work. Thanks if you have a good answer, but I’m not too hopeful.

  I’m on my iPad 2 and I use Safari. I can’t see in settings how to find out what version it is.

  The dashboard of WordPress is not yet fully touch compatible as I understand it. It takes a ton of code to make things work both with touch and regular keyboards and mice, but in the interim, WordPress has created an app that will let you do quite a bit. The App is free and can be downloaded from the App store, and take a look at this article on some basics for using it.

  I’ve not yet tried to use the latest version of the App with all the bells and whistles so I can’t offer any commentary on how it works.

  I’m reading “Blogging on the iPad” but do you happen to know the name of the App he’s reviewing? There are several at the App Store. I’m sort of surprised he wouldn’t tell which one he’s talking about. Maybe they only had one when he wrote that.

  It is the WordPress App for iOS. If you search on the App Store for iOS, you will find it quite easily I believe. Or, you can go to this support page, http://en.support.wordpress.com/apps/ , and there is a link to download it.

  When I clicked on ‘download’ it took me to the App Store but not the App. So I’ll look for it tomorrow. And finish up that article. Thank you and I’ll be back.

  I’m seeing a couple of Apps that look good but need to study them more so I don’t regret getting the wrong one. I’ll try to come back if and when I choose one and let you know what’s good. Thanks again for all your help.
