Won’t let me import blog again after canceling stuck import

    I’m trying to import my tumblr blog to wordpress. I’ve gone to my /wp-admin page and clicked through Tools > import. There is a section that says ‘ If your import gets stuck for a long time or you would like to import from a different Tumblr account instead then click on the ‘Clear account information’ button below to reset the importer.’
    I started importing my blog but it never even started and was stuck. So I did what it suggested and clicked the ‘clear account information’ button. The import icon stopped going in circles and stopped importing. And now when I try to import my blog again it says I can only have one import going on at once, except the previous one isn’t even running.
    Help is appreciated :(

    Hi there!

    Following Tumblr’s recent announcement regarding content allowed on their service on their service, we’re experiencing unusually high volumes of Tumblr imports, leading to some delays in these imports.

    If you’re trying to import your Tumblr blog to WordPress.com and it looks like the import isn’t starting, please be patient. Imports are being queued on our servers and will be completed in the order that they were started. Please let us know if the import hasn’t completed after 24 hours.

    Staff can help you reset the importer.

    Hi there,

    I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.

    If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

    If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.
