won’t let me login

  Hi,
  I recently signed up with wordpress. I previously had an old wordpress.com site and updated to .org. my login each time I login to wordpress says that my login is invalid and it will only let me login to my old account which is somehow connected to my new account. I can’t figure out why it won’t let me log in and recently even logging into my old account it keeps telling me that my password is wrong and I have to use the login link to get signed in.
