Won't Publish ?

Hey Southwestphotojournal.com won’t publish, it displays the draft but when I click publish it fails to
do so. Checked by alloted space and have used half. In 109 postings I have never had this issue. I
have been having a slow loading of the feature image but don’t know if that is related or not ????

It looks like you were able to successfully publish a post 18 hours ago. Has this been resolved? If not, can you provide a bit more information? Is the “Publish” button greyed out and not available or does clicking “Publish” just fail to do anything?

You Folk Rock ! My browser was over active and Safari was able to publish my post. I still have concerns about my FireFox browser and Timethief passed along some further steps to pursue, pulling some cookies from the cache perhaps and I have yet to pursue all the good suggestions Timethief so comphrensivily laid out for me. I was able
to publish but have a duplicate draft in the dashboard as well as one in the publish listing, some concern about deleting the drafts and losing the post since things have been so hinkey. Running the last version of firefox so not sure why, things are acting up but appreciate all of your help and concerns……….pk -
You have two similar titles in your Posts screen currently:
“THE CIVIL WAR IN THE SOUTHWEST: A GREAT SHOW, GREAT BATTLES, GREAT RE-ENACTERS, GREAT TIME TO CLEAN UP THE BACKGROUND, ANNOYING CAR ALARMS !”
However, you’ll notice that one is a draft as shown here:
The draft is not published. So if you delete it to remove the duplicate title, you will not lose your published post. Can you give that a try and let me know if it works on your side? Also, please let me know if you’re having any additional trouble!

Final issue is the feature photo fails to load quickly, time thief suggested
I check out cookie caches and I suppose clean them out ? -
There could be multiple issues with the featured slider not loading. First, it looks like you have set 18 blog posts to display on your front page in Settings -> Reading. With the amount of images in each post, it may take awhile for the entire page to load and therefore slow down the slider loading. You may want to try to lower that to 10 and see if it improves the slider loading.
With that being said, I’ve tried loading the page for quite awhile, and a featured slider doesn’t show up, which leads me to believe that something else is up here. Can you try slightly increasing the size of the first image in your latest post (slightly bigger than 950px wide)? I think the size may be causing the issue as well.
Let me know if either of those help to solve the problem!
