Won't recognize my wordpress.com password!

When I visit a wp.com site and try to leave a comment, my pw is not recognized. So I generate a new password and try again. Samo, samo.
I’ve had to change my password so many times it’s getting tedious and I still can’t log into sites and use my wordpress.com pw and username.
I’ve been registered on wordpress.com for several years now and I have no problem logging into wordpress.com but if I want to leave a comment for example on a wordpress.com site, when I enter the correct password, it’s not recognized! So I use the ‘lost password’ option, generate a new password, go back to the site, try and log in and go thru the same old crap all over again.
What is going on? I’ve looked everywhere on wordpress.com to try and find a solution but to no avail.

I can’t log in! i changed my password and logged in with my email address. The site tells me that i can’t log in and offers a user name other than my own. i could start a new blog but i have followers on my original blog and would love to continue using it. Help!
