  Hi, im trying to add my categories to the shop home page, but it is only letting me display products. I need categories on the shop page so it is easy for my customers to navigate in finding items. I have looked all over you tube and google for a solution. I have the settings set correct,in the appearance section etc…on you tube someone told me that some of the themes have this issue and it may need a code inserted in text form, but i have no idea on how to do this…can anyone please advise? Thanks

  Hi pinktoeparties,

  The documentation should help with how to create categories so you can create the impressions you want for certain posts on certain pages:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/

  You can also control which page is being used for Posts, If you want to create pages then you can select the specific page and post over there that would not be a blog post.
