woo commerce USPS plugin

We have a compile error in the class-wc-shipping-usps.php: Redefinition of parameter $w and it is preventing the website from working.

The host updated the PHP yet said they cannot do anything to resolve this error. I kept going in circles trying to get woo support as it wanted me to go through wordpress.com, which I created an account even though the website is on a different host. Then it kept sending me back even though I confirmed the e-mail. My sister died last month and I am trying to help my brother run the online business, which now he is losing customers with a down website. I have ‘some’ website experience, and all I am trying to do right now is get the website up and running. The host upgraded the PHP then the plugin kept failing and they are not providing much support! 🙁

Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

  • Hi there,

It sounds like you need help with the WooCommerce plugin but have landed on the support forum for WordPress.com sites instead.

We don’t offer WooCommerce on WordPress.com (unless you are upgraded to our WordPress.com Pro Plan), so we’re not your best point of contact.

The good news is that help is available by contacting WooCommerce staff here:

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

The folks over there are familiar with your plugin and in the best position to assist. Hope this helps point you in the right direction!

Thanks fstat. I have tried there as well. :-(

  • Hi there,

What was the email address that you were using to confirm the account? I take it they may have wanted you to create an account so that you can reach out to them via email or chat if you have a paid upgrade.

Have there been any extensions purchased and were you able to confirm your email and gain access to your WooCommerce account?

    darnelldibbles,

Thank you for your response. I was finally able to submit a support request through Woocommerce and hopefully we can resolve the issue from there. Iguess Woo commerce is now under WordPress?

  • WooCommerce is owned by Automattic, the parent company of WordPress.com (and a few other products).
