Woo Theme onto my WordPress Site?
-
Hi! At the moment I pay for WordPress to take all http://www.bastiandjules.com enquiries and redirect them to the wordpress blog http://www.bastiandjules.wordpress.com.
I have realised though that if I want to bring a Woo theme onto my site (which I have already paid for) that I have to take the wordpress site onto my own server before I can customise…PLEASE help me out with how to do this and maybe even let me cancel my 12$ redirection fee????
Thank you so much for your help in advance…
Julia

Hi Julia,
I’m very sorry, but all upgrades purchased through WordPress are refundable up to 30 days after their purchase:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/#refundsAdditionally, custom themes are not allowed on WordPress.com. This is a feature of self-hosted sites using WordPress.org, as you already know.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I encourage you to contact us with any other questions about your upgrade and account.

Thanks for that but I do not know what to do now – so here it is, maybe you have an idea.
1) Domain is in a UK company server – http://www.bastiandjules.com
2) I have paid wordpress to redirect searches on this address to bastiandjules.wordpress.com.
3) I have bought a hundred something dollar subscription to Woo Themes so I can use the Diner theme to build my site.
How do I now get a Diner theme onto http://www.bastiandjules.com ?? I really appreciate help on this – as you may be able to tell, I am relatively clueless :)

Well, you have two choices really.
1. You could ask the Woo Themes folks for a refund and continue to blog here.
2. You could get a hosting provider and install WordPress from http://wordpress.org/ then just direct your domain name theme and use the Woo Themes you purchased.
