  To be able to sell products/set up a store on WordPress.com, you will need to upgrade your plan to either the business plan or the e-commerce plan.
  You can view the cost of upgrading your plan on this page.

  WooCommerce itself, the plugin that is used to set up a store, is free.
  You can learn more about WooCommerce and selling products on WordPress.com on this support page and this one as well.

  However, more functionality and features can be added to the free WooCommerce plugin through extensions and premium plugins (these you will have to pay for). The WooCommerce website has links to these extensions and more information that will guide you to set up your store.

  Hi there,

  It depends on what you want to sell, and how automated/integrated you want things to be.

  For a fully-fledged online store, with integrated payments and shipping options, and order management, you’ll need a plugin like WooCommerce, and that needs at least our Business Plan.

  But on a free site you can embed a simple PayPal button, and combine that with a contact form to take payments.

  Or on our Premium Plan you can use our PayPal block, which is also essentially just a PayPal button, but you set it up without having to use any HTML code, and you can create a full product listing with a product description and photo, and a set price. You’ll still need to combine this with a contact form to take orders, or manually follow up on payments via email.
