Hi there,
For the WordPress.com Store feature, no, you need to be in Canada or the US. You can use WooCommerce in the UK though. Both require the Business Plan.
Let us know if you have any further questions or issues. :)

Thanks.
So – with a Business Plan if I am based in the UK I can still install WooCommerce as a plugin but just not use the built in Store (which I understand is based on WooCommerce). Is this correct?
I just don’t want to sign up for a Business Plan and then be disappointed. Can you point me to any definitive documentation about this?
Thanks.

Hi,
I’m not too sure if the Store is based on WooCommerce, so I can’t comment on that, but in terms of where you’re based, that is correct.
See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/store/
To use Store on WP.com, you will need to be located in Canada or the United States
If you go to https://woocommerce.com/, you’ll probably see something which says “Start selling today in the United Kingdom” on your screen.

In terms of being disappointed about the Business Plan, do bare in mind that you can cancel within 30 days and receive a full refund (though you only have 48 hours to receive a refund on a custom domain). :)

Hi!
I’m in UK and have a site on business plan using the WooCommerce plugin.
After you install the plugin, “Store” appears in the left sidebar of where Stats, Activity, etc are.
When you click you get:
Managing your store
Howdy! It looks like your store is located in a country that we can not fully support in this interface. Store setup and management will take place in wp-admin, our classic admin interface. We are actively working on adding broader support and we’ll let you know when you can manage your store here!but everything in the store works as expected.
So my take is that everything works the same, you just have to use the WP-admin interface rather than the slightly more user-friendly WP.com front end.
