Woocommerce checkout page not showing credit card fields for customers

I have been having a number of issues with my website in recent weeks. Firstly my checkout page was populating the payment details with my own personal details. My developer helped remove this by changing our checkout page but now my customer are now shown a field to enter their payment details into. This is resulting in a number of failed orders as customers are just pressing “order now”, however there are no payment details to process. Any help would be appreciated as this is a peak period for us!!
