  We have woocommerce website and we updated our woocommerce plugin last year,in admin dashboard notice seems Woocommerce Database requried.

  Is this database update required,because our website seeems working fine.Please check below verison and let us know.

  If database required then what are the causes may hapeen while update.Like custom data or existing data loss

  Generally speaking, it’s good practice to keep the database updated and in line with any WooCommerce updates.

  Existing data is not removed with a database update, again generally speaking. That said, it’s not out of the realms of possibility should there have been any custom development work carried out on the site.

  My advice would be to take a back up of the database prior to any updates, should you need them or need to add back any information.
