Woocommerce email notification to gmail/yahoo are not sent/received

    I am trying to get the woocommerce email notification work when there is a new order coming in, completed order, or even when customers want to reset their password. So far, email notification to gmail/yahoo hasn’t been received even though I enabled the woocommerce email notification. If I change the recipient address to my webmail account (provided by my host), I received the email, but when i change the recipient address to gmail/yahoo account, i don’t receive any email notification.

    I tried sending email from my webmail to gmail & yahoo and they went through just fine…So i’m not sure what is blocking the emails.

    I also downloaded the plugin wp-mail-smtp and configured it to PHP mailer using smtp.gmail.com, port 465 and selected the ssl encryption and using the smtp authentication. I put down my gmail account & password. I sent a test email and it works but got sent right away to spam folder in gmail. But the email notifications still doesn’t work…Can you please help?

    This is a bit of a problem, because most of my customers are using either gmail/yahoo and if they lost their password, they won’t even get an email to reset it…

    You need to have a wordpress.ORG site on paid hosting https://wordpress.ORG/hosting to run woocommerce. You cannot run it on a wordpress.COM hosted blog.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
