Woocommerce features show up on mobile site but not desktop

Hi all, hope someone can help me as think I am going mad! I’ve never set up basket / checkout options on my site (including never having ‘add to basket’ buttons) as I sell wedding dresses and prefer customers to have to discuss purchases with me first.
However, yesterday I got a payment via paypal from a customer and eventually traced the problem that all the functionality seems to have appeared on the mobile version of my site including a link to paypal with the correct email set up! I can’t work out how to remove it so for now I have ‘broken’ it by taking all the payment options off and removing the links to the basket and checkout pages – but the add to basket buttons still appear on the products – again, just on the mobile version, they have never appeared on desktop!
Any idea what’s going on? This is the first time its happened in the years the sites been up – wondered if an auto update has caused it, but why would it do it just on the mobile version?? Could it be because I’ve set the site to use the wordpress mobile version not the original themes one??
