WooCommerce New Product Alerts Question

    Hello, I am curious if anyone knows of a good plugin that will achieve what I am wanting.

    I have a Woo Commerce website for book reviews. People who are members of my site can download the book and review it for free. The books are submitted by the authors.

    My users would love a feature where they can get an email notification when there is a new book in the genre (product category) that they enjoy.

    How can I do this? I see a lot of plugins for low stock which doesn’t really apply. I just need something that will automatically send them an email notification when a book in their chosen genre is uploaded. I don’t have time to manage this manually.

    Ah, Thanks. I apologize but you are using the wrong forum center. You need to know the difference between WordPress.com, and WordPress.org, because they aren’t the same forums. Each have different but some same features. If you still don’t understand, read on.

    You are on WordPress.com Forums, when you would need to be on WordPress.org forums, for this request, as this is for hosted sites, and not for “self” hosted sites under their own hosts.

    Basically, they have they have the same name, but the difference is .org, and .com, and have different options in each. Also, WordPress.com, is where everything is done for you, and WordPress.org, where you are able to manage your servers, etc.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
