WooCommerce plugin purchase not tranferred to WordPress

Purchased the “Follow-Ups” plugin for WooCommerce last year.
Received email this is being discontinued with an offer for a years free subscription to “AutomateWoo”.
Email said no need for coupon as this offer will automatically appear in the “Active Upgrades” tab of the “Purchases” section my WordPress account.
However “Active Subscriptions” tab just says I have no active sites. The “Billing” tab correctly shows the purchase of the “Follow-Ups” plugin from last year.
Can someone explain why I cannot see the “AutomateWoo” subscription as promised ?
