WooCommerce update works locally, not live
-
Hello!
I am in charge of an e-shop and some of the plugins are old and are not functioning how they should.
I think that I can start debugging them after I updating them to the newest versions. I have WP 4.8.7 and WooCommerce 3.3.1. After updating WooCommerce to 3.5.1, it returned me an 500 error, but it works when I do it locally, where is the problem? Is it safe to do it again?
Thank you!

Hi michaldang,
The account you are contacting us from hasn’t created any sites on WordPress.com yet.
It sounds like you are using WooCommerce on a self hosted WordPress.org site, so please open a support ticket from the dashboard in your account on WooCommerce.com (if you have a paid upgrade) or post to the WordPress.org support forums advice:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce
A 500 error indicates a server issue so you could also contact your host to see if their logs contain any information.
Best of luck!
