Worcpress.com Admin pages time out when trying to access – site still visible

  Was able to access site admin (Dashboard, etc.) last night (UK time) without issue. This morning connection times out.
  
  – Site is whitelisted on anti-virus and with router.
  – NO changes made to router settings or to connection.
  – Clearing cache / history /cookies makes no difference.
  – Have tried on Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Edge, all with the same result.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Update:
  
  I can log into my account admin page (worpdress.me) – but from there, all options in the left-side menu time-out when selected.
