Word 2007 & Images

    Hi, i have begun writing posts using Word 2007 and all works very well actually. Not the usual formatting nightmare it used to be. Anyhow, when posting pictures, it somehow doesnt make the trip. In word, you insert the image to the post. This is how i set where the images go in Word: (Options are – my blog provider, my own server or none.

    Since wordpress hosts the blog, i chose my blog provider, but that is not working. If i choose my own server, then i am asked for upload url and source url.

    Any ideas?

    Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as just putting in upload and source URLs. If you look at the URL for an image that you upload through the wp.com interface you’ll see they’re stored in sub folders by year and month.

    I don’t believe there’s a way around this other than to upload the files through the wp.com interface and then just insert the image HTML into the post in Word 2007.

    I may be proven wrong though!
