  There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s only for blogs on their own domains. This is the homepage for the WordAds program: http://www.wordads.co/ There you will find the application page as well as FAQs. http://wordpress.com/apply-for-wordads

  Interested in joining. However I do have a custom domain, but its not through wordpress.com I had bought my domain and using a hosting site, but using WordPress as the platform. (am i making sense)

  The WorAds program is only available to those who have free hosted wordpress.com blogs on theor own domains. If you wish to purchase a domain mapping upgrade and map from your free hosted wordpress.com blog to your existing domain that’s possible.
