Word Ads
-
Hello,
I am attempting to add my website ameenhalee.com to my WordPress, but I says that it is not attached to my WordPress account. Also, I am trying o apply for Word Ads, but it is not working. May I get a contact from my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) since I can not find out how to contact you guys via live chat support. -
Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? From what I see you are hosted at GoDaddy when I look at your domain settings. You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/ameenhalee.com+dns
For sites we do not host directly here on WordPress.com, you can install and activate the Jetpack plugin, then follow the steps here to activate Jetpack Ads (WordAds) on your site: https://jetpack.com/support/ads/
Hope this helps!

Yes my site is with Godaddy! I wanted to add my site because I wanted to sign up my website for WordPress Ads to make extra revenue from my site.

To clarify, you can have a site here on WordPress.com or on GoDaddy (we both offer WordPress sites) but you do not need both. It’s kind of an either/or proposition.
Do you mean to say you would like to migrate your site away from GoDaddy as a provider, and set it up under your WordPress.com account instead?
If you prefer to keep your site on GoDaddy then the correct way to get ads on your site is to use the Jetpack plugin, followed by the steps here: https://jetpack.com/support/ads/
