Word Ads appearing where they shouldn't

I started the word ads program on my site a few months back, but had an issue almost immediately where I was having disruptive ads appearing in the middle of my posts when I had only the initial ad at the bottom of the post and an extra ad at the top of the page turned on. I reached out to support and after much back and forth proving that clearing history, cookies, trying a different browser, etc did not fix the issue they said they would look into it. After a month of getting no further communication I turned ads back on limited only to the front page and Pages (which is the front page and blog feed the rest are posts) I am still getting intrusive ads appearing in the middle of the text. This appears to be limited to viewers who are not logged into a wordpress account. I have tried changing theme thinking maybe there was an issue with the formatting triggering this with no luck. It is very clearly linked to Word ads as I can pause ads and with a single refresh they disappear. I am at the point where I am starting to think about moving my site to a different host as there is absolutely no reason this should be happening and the lack of support and follow up has been terrible.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

Sorry for the lack of follow-up before. I’ll report that internally to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

I’ve disabled inline ads for your site, so they should no longer appear within your content.

However, do keep in mind that this will reduce the number of ad impressions, and thus the amount of money you earn from ads on your site.

Please let me know if you have any more questions about this.
