Word Ads not showing up – blank space – no ad blocker

  Dear WordPress

  First thanks for the very quick activation of WordPress ads on my blog http://the1940sexperiment.com/

  I’ve set the basic ads which appear at the bottom of each post (as my theme doesn’t support top and side bar word ads).

  It’s been active since yesterday bur currently I am only seeing blank spaces and a little text that says ‘About these ads’…

  Can you tell me when the ads will appear or what I should do?

  Although I have seen a video ad under one of your posts, I didn’t see any other ads.

  Yes there should be just one ad under the top post on the front page then ads under all the posts when you click on them- am still seeing just blank spaces.

  I am going to update to a WordAd friendly theme eventually.

  PS Can you see an ad on this page (located after recipe 144 and above the comments)

  Again- all I can see is a white space
