Word ads re apply

  I applied to the word ads program about a month ago and got denied presumably for traffic reasons my traffic since then has increased yet I cannot apply again for wordads is there some sort of waiting time? I did get an email saying

  Our advertising partners have minimum traffic requirements, and when your site traffic meets these requirements, we’ll be in touch.

  Does this mean I will get an email when I meet traffic requirements or will I have to apply again?
