I’m on a desktop PC and I don’t see any break in the site title at all. Please post:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/Then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Under the “look and feel” section of your stats page, click customize. Then, once you enter the customizer, there should be a section to update your site title.

Do you actually see a break in the site title here http://thousandnotesoneinstrument.wordpress.com/?If you do, please post:

Sorry, I misread the question! I thought you wanted to get rid of the word “Instrument”.

Oh okay, thank you! I am using Safari 8, so I don’t know why I see a break. I’ll have a look at my settings.
-
On your browser, try going to “view” and “zoom out” to see if it is indeed WordPress or a setting on your browser.

@raulcanbereached
Yes it might be a browser related issue and Staff will ow what they are dealing with when ruthienugent provides details.I have been answering questions here for over 9 years. I predate the support docs and all support staff even being on staff except for one member. Granted I have learned a lot from other experienced Volunteers but my advice is not to respond to any thread unless you can back up your response with links to earlier correct responses made by Staff and/or experienced Volunteers. Also note that I hate having to ghost threads that new Volunteers post into and to make corrections so I no longer do that. Now tag all such threads for Staff to deal with.

@ruthienugent
Well that’s good news that we can thank raulcanbereached for lol :D
Best wishes for trouble-free blogging. -
I apologize if any help I offered earlier may have hindered your work. At 9 years of experience, I would imagine you know WordPress inside-out. I, of all people here, am probably the least qualified to be answering questions, but in the spirit of persistence, I’d only ask of you to point me in the right direction. Is there a particular way to address questions on a forum? I have been observing much of the teamwork that goes into these forums and want to continue to be a part of it.
@ruthienugent
Happy to have been of service to you! -
