Word cannot register your account
-
Hello All ..
I am trying to set up word 2007 to blog with but it keeps on saying “word cannot register your account”. I have everything in there ok by the looks. I also researched this and found some other people had the same issue. They were told to modify their writing settings. I did this too but it doesn’t help.
Any ideas . .?? Thanks in advanceThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You are off on a tangent. You cannot register a blog with microsot word. You copy and paste from Microsoft word into a blog post.
Here’s what to do first. Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”
Please see here so you know how to do this correctly http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-textRead also > http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/windows-live-writer/

Strange, the option is there to register in word. I use word at work without having to copy and paste. Thank you for your help timethief, I really appreciate it. I’ll check out your link also. . .cheers

TT is right: Windows Live Writer works like Word, only better. You’ll love it and it automatically makes a backup of everything you write. AND it’s free.

I’ll have to check how I do it with work then. It works fine there. Also when I open up word for blogging , wordpress is listed, this is confusing. Thanks for your time
