Im getting an unable to connect error for adding a blog. I had this all set up. But was forced to change my WP password. Now I cannot link my word blog posts to post to WP. – http://www.bigboardgaming.com Please advise – I have screen shot also if that helps.

At least according to tests from our end, Jetpack is working properly at https://bigboardgaming.com/ now.
Are you still having trouble with this?

Did you change your WordPress.com account password, or your site’s admin account password?
Can you check if it works if you use your site’s admin account’s username and password with Word, rather than your WordPress.com username and password?
Word access your site via XML-RPC, and that access is tied to your site’s admin account, not your WordPress.com username account.

Thx.
So to ensure I do this correctly.
I go to WP-admin
click Top right. icon for account
Go to account settings to confirms user name.
my username is bigboardgaming
go to security where I can generate a new password. – Lets do that and use that password for site login and for the connection within word.Is that correct?
By the way I REALLY appreciate the help so far. -
Right. The connection needs to happen through the site’s admin account, not your WordPress.com account.

hmm I changed the password, tested it on my site and on the PC d.load version of WP. I then went in to test it in word by using the change button and it says it cannot register my account.
https://bigboardgaming.com/xmlprc.php
username [redacted]
password: [redacted]ERROR Word cannot register your account.

Yikes! Please don’t post your username and password in public forums. We have redacted that for you, but you’ll need to change your password to something else (and something more secure) ASAP, or someone might log in and destroy your site.
Please read this; we’ll be reading through the rest of your thread to respond.

You mentioned a screenshot earlier – would you send a full screenshot? You can use https://snipboard.io/ then send a link.
Please do be sure not to include any private details like a visible password in the screenshot.
Also, just to clarify, you’ve mentioned Word and I think we’re assuming you mean Jetpack/WordPress.com. Would you send more details on which tool you’re trying to connect?

I only posted my username no password….I’m not a total dork.
I am refering to MSFT Word. Where you can create a blog post and post up the article. Ive been using it for a long time. Since the password change it wont connect.

Ok, with regards to that, since your site is not hosted with WordPress.com (it is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost), we won’t be able to help with this.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

The WordPress.org forums would not necessarily be able to help you with this, as this isn’t a WordPress software issue. It’s an issue with third party software (Word in this case) connecting to your server via XML-RPC.
Try making the connection using http://bigboardgaming.com/xmlprc.php instead (i.e. not a https link), or even leaving off https:// completely. That sometimes help for WordPress.com sites.
If that doesn’t work either, the folks in the self-hosted forums might have more ideas of what you can try.
